  1 As part of Kerala University of Health Sciences - Students Support and Guidance Program, an awareness class on Women Empowerment was conducted on 19th February 2019 by a team from Women Cell working under Kerala Police,led by Ms. Krishnapriya, Sub.Inspector of Police, Palakkad.

  3 An interactive session on Medical Jurisprudence was conducted by the department of Agada Tantra for the students of third prof BAMS at the college auditorium. The session was handled by Adv. Mr. Arun A V from palakkad.
  4 An awareness class on fire and safety was conducted at Santhigiri Ayurveda Medical College campus by the Department of Fire and Rescue services, Government of Kerala. It was followed by a demonstration on various methods of fire fighting, usage of fire extinguishers and rescue services and a mock drill on Fire & Safety was conducted.

  6 A Team of Doctors and House Surgeons conducted a Yoga Camp organized for the benefit of inhabitants of Geriatric Centre, Kallekkad in connection with International Yoga Day.

15 Conducted “Sishyopanayaneeyam” (Induction Ceremony ) for First Year BAMS students will be conducted on 3 rd October (Thursday) at our College. Dr. Srikrishnan, Professor & HOD, Department of Agada Tantra, VPSV, AVC, Kottakkal was the Chief Guest, who performed Vidyarambam for the Students and released SAMC Prayer Audio CD.
16 On the occasion of World Food Day, Dept. Of Swasthavritta conducted an awareness class for students of Kozhinjampara arts and science college.
17 An awareness class on Proprietary Medicines of Santhigiri conducted by Dr. B Rajkumar, Medical Superintendent ( ayurveda) and Dr. Brahmadathan, Deputy Medical Officer (Siddha)
18 On the occasion of 4 th National Ayurveda Day we conducted an inaugural function. The Dept. Of Swasthavritta arranged for a lunch based on pathyas. The Teachers and Students participated in Flash MOB conducted in association with District Medical Office, Palakkad, AMAI and National Ayush Mission on the Occasions of NATIONAL AYURVEDA DAY. The Theme for this year is Ayurveda for Longevity
19 On the occasion of RASHTRIYA EKTA DIWAS (National Unity Day), conducted elocution and essay writing competition on the topic “ THE ROLE OF SARDAR VALLABHBHAI PATEL IN NATIONAL INTEGRATION” and Pledge taking.

20 Dept of swasthavrittam, SAMC completed first session on Dinacharya with practical training to teachers, parents and students of Saraswati Vidyalayam, Nallepilly on 10/11/2019 - as part of “Aayushkaameeyam” a school health initiative.
